Employment Directions is holding a digital art competition with the theme 'Youth Connections' for young people aged 13 - 19 and living in the Barossa, Gawler, Light Regional and Mallala District Council areas. 

The competition will be launched a the 'Our Day on the Scene' Youth Week Celebration event on 17 April 2010 at Tolley Reserve.  Entries will need to be in .jpeg format and can be emailed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or posted to Employment Directions PO Box 198 Nuriootpa SA 5355.  The competition closes on 10 July and winners will be notified by mail and in the Barossa Herald of 28 July 2010.

Entries will be judged by the Young Ambassadors of the Barossa and the winning submissions will be displayed on Employment Directions website and in the foyer of the Barossa Council Public Library.

Prizes include: digital camera donated by Office National, Barossa, Sony 'Bloggie' and Arnett watch donated by Barossa Community Store and iPod and $50 voucher for Barossa Surf n' Ski funded by Youth Barossa.
