We will work together with you to develop the essential skills, knowledge and confidence necessary to identify and access employment opportunities.   

We can offer you: local offices, over 30 years experience in employment services, dedicated staff trained in meeting your individual needs and a commitment to giving an ethical, quality service that puts you first.  While you are unemployed Employment Directions will: provide you with job vacancy information, access to jobs through job search facilities, advice to you on job search techniques career options employment programs and other services, give you feedback on any job interviews we have arranged for you and help you meet your jobseeker obligations while you are looking for work.

As soon as you start with Employment Directions the services we will provide include:

  • Recording your resume on the JobSearch website for your access
  • Help with facilities on JobSearch such as your personal page
  • Immediate access to any job matches through JobSearch
  • Provide advice about the best ways to look for and find work in our local areas

Further, more intenstive, support is available to eligible jobseekers dependant on their need and individual circumstances.  These further, more intensive services may include:

  • Referral to and support with employment related training or certificates
  • Referral to and support with completion of activities such as work experience, counselling, volunteer work, Work for the Dole, Green Corps, Drought Force
  • Support and assistance if you are in crisis situations such as: homelessness, domestic violence, substance abuse
